Grasstree Beach is a small community, about 35 mins away from Mackay by car and under 20 mins from Sarina shops. The beach itself is secluded for the most part during the week. There is also a playground and BBQ area just up the road. In addition to the beach, there is a reserve at the front of the property, so you will be visited by the local wildlife including kookaburras, curlews, colourful parrots to name a few. If you are lucky enough, you can also spot dolphins and whales out in the ocean when they come to visit our beautiful beach.
