This beautiful old Queenslander was built in the 1950's and was originally the town Magistrates home. It was sold by the Qld Govt in 2008 to the current owners who lived their with her boys and loved the property. A new kitchen was put in and a great downstairs bar area was built. The last few years have seen it rented, and in some areas, it is a little worse for wear.

It is completely liveable and would suit an investor or a family starting out. It sits on a terrific 1012 (1/4 Acre) block on top of Goondi Hill, right on the fringe of the town centre and an easy walk to town. The views over the mountains and the town are excellent, and the backyard is fully fenced and makes for a perfect soccer field or cricket pitch.

The home features high ceilings and good-sized rooms with georgeous coloured glass casement windows wrapping around the verandah. The kitchen is solid timber and in pretty good condition. There is a huge amount of space under the house with an entertainment area underneath. It is the perfect base for the family Christmas get together. There is parking for 4 cars undercover. Good neighbours surround you.

The floorplan is a bit all over the place with the odd door where there probably shouldn't be one. The owner had it set up as a three bedroom but with this floorplan there are several options. It is not an oil painting but it certainly once was and we would say it has good bones.
