Last Listing description (February 2022)

A Lot of people don't realise this but Ebbw Vale is an old Welsh word meaning "Difficult to pronounce "
Ebbw Vale was famous for its clay products and dates back to 1877.
This 5 bedroom home would have been built for someone, no doubt involved with the industry in Ebbw Vale. 5 Bedroom homes are very rare in those times and were normally only build for the wealthy. It was then willed to the church and became a manse. It remained with the church until the current owners purchased it.

The current owners have done the most amount of significant work to the home since it was built around the turn of the century.
It has been entirely restumped with adjustable stumps and has had steel beams put in for someone wanting to raise it in the future.
Has a new kitchen and bathroom. Freshly painted inside and has polished Hoop Pine floorboards.
All of the rooms are large with 12 foot ceilings which is typical for homes of this era.
The lounge has the original fireplace in perfect working order and does a great job in keeping the place warm and toasty, but there is also an air conditioner if the fireplace ain't cutting it.
The main bedroom also has an air conditioner.
Bedrooms have new carpet.
The bullnose on the front has been replaced and the roof above the dining room has been replaced and insulated.
Positioned on a massive 1311m2 corner block with a lockup double garage.

7 min walk to the train station and only 36km from Brisbane CBD

This type of home is quite hard to come by, so I would suggest arranging an inspection asap before it is scooped up.
