Last Listing description (March 2014)

A HIDDEN OASIS
These 40 acres (16.2 ha) are very deceiving and certainly had me fooled. I cant wait to show you this lush green oasis you suddenly come across about half way into the block. This area has huge stringy bark trees, heaps of grass trees and although fairly thickly vegetated, you can quite easily pick your way through following kangaroo tracks. This is where I would build or set up camp. You already have so much to work with to create that something special.
Walking through the property, the land slopes gently from the right hand boundary down towards the left boundary. A third of the way in, you come across a lower lying area where you can see natural shallow billabongs which are dry at the moment. Then suddenly you come across the lovely area described above.

Ranging between 27m and 32m above sea level, the property is zoned green which indicates vegetation not of concern.
Deepwater National Park with lovely Wreck Rock Beach is only 10 mins up the road and a boat ramp on tidal Deepwater Creek, which takes you down to the Broadwater, is 8km. Alternatively, you can go to Rules Beach which would be 15 mins or put the tinny in Baffle Creek which would be 10 mins drive.
Only 5 km gravel road, power, telephone and the school bus are available at the front boundary.
Approx. distances: Baffle Creek 21km, Bundaberg 107km, Agnes Water 74km, Gladstone 136km.
If you would like to look at the property by satellite, copy and paste these co-ordinates: 24 24 56.14 s 151 55 05.39 e into google earth. I can email you an image showing boundaries if you would like to contact me.
The Baffle Creek District offers a beautiful estuary system with fantastic fishing & crabbing and quiet beaches. Our sub-tropical climate is arguably the best on the east coast of Australia offering surf beaches free of crocodiles and box jellyfish. School buses service the entire area. If you would like links emailed to you of other properties that will suit what you are looking for, please feel free to ask.
