An outstanding feature of this Sayers Road farm is the block set up designed for easy irrigation management. All pumps feed into a series of underground 15' pipes with outlets to all laser levelled paddocks. All irrigation water is drawn from the aquifer in the Lower Burdekin water area with an area charge of $138.49 per ha cultivated with no limit to usage. If Sugarcane is grown Wilmar pays $45.90 of this fee. There is also a huge recycle pit to recycle runoff and prevents water wastage.
The farm has an average cane production of 9,000 to 10,000 tonnes annually with above average CCS. It has a production area of 90,06ha (222.53 acres). The farm is currently leases so the 2019 Cane Crop is not included but will include the stools for ratooning for the 2020 cane crop & plant cane.
There is a Renovated low set Queenslander home in good condition on the property with a large open lawn and garden area with a water view. There are approximately 100, mostly r2e2 mango trees nearby to the house and shed with some other assorted fruit trees.
