Out from the kitchen is a large patio area with an in-ground saltwater plunge pool and spa overlooking the escarpment to the wet season lagoon.

The ceilings are insulated to keep the house cool so you don't have to use the airconditioning all the time and the floors are NT slate throughout.

The house has a verandah all round. It has three bedrooms, a large study or 4th bedroom and two bathrooms with a central living area and kitchen. Bedrooms and the study are air-conditioned.
The laundry is on the verandah, with electric hot water service.

NBN is connected (fixed wireless) and connection speeds are adequate to work from home.

There is an adjoining fully enclosed shed and two carports. The shed has 10- and 15-amp outlets, two sinks and a mezzanine level for additional storage. There are lots of power points throughout.

The lagoon is full from about December to April, the timing dependent on the monsoons and is up to two metres deep.

The block has a range of microhabitats and is visited by a wide range of birds, animals reptiles and insects. Emerald Ground Pigeons and Pittas are seasonal visitors. Trees in the lagoon attract a great variety of nectar eating birds in the wet season. Two areas have matured northern Australian rain forest trees. Shrubs have been planted to support butterflies, both as caterpillars and adults, and insects such as native bees.

There are two nearby (5 minutes) shopping centres at Virgina and Coolalinga and a larger centre in Palmerston (10 minutes). Darwin is 30 minutes away by car. There is a preschool at Virginia and a number of primary and secondary schools in the Palmerston and rural area.
