The hunting is carried out on what is locally known as Mary River Station, a well known old cattle ranch that was the heart of the Buffalo Industry during the skin shooting days and today still hosts large numbers of free ranging wild populations of world class Buffalo,Banteng, Wild Boars, Scrub Bulls, Dingos, Donkeys, Wild Horses and lots of other wild life.
Adjacent to the Hunting Lodge is a 10,000 acre Game Ranch area currently used for hunting Sambar Deer, Hog Deer, Javan Rusa Deer & (Molacan] Rusa Deer, Chital / Axis Deer & Blackbuck Antelope, plus some other Antelope varieties.
Mary River Station is unique with its private herd of Banteng. In Australia it is one of only two destinations that Banteng may be legally hunted in the world.
Rifle & Bow hunters always have opportunities to harvest all game species.
ACCOMMODATION
There is a range of accommodation; being main house, hunter's lodge, stockman's dongas plus fully air-conditioned self-contained bungalows with shower and WC,complete with fly screens and curtains for privacy, soothing fans, and breath taking scenic views.
