'Wattle Flat' is 640 acres on the bluff overlooking the Shoalhaven River. The footings of the McKane family home are still visible and the yard still hosts old pear trees and other orchard trees. The property is mostly bush but there is a good size clearing down towards Sewells Point which is a great place for the kids to ride or you could just set up a blanket and take in the view of the gorge. Another point of interest for the keen (ultra fit!!) walker is Skull Island. There is a large water hole on the river and a great launch place for the keen rafter, all you need to do is drag your raft down 272 mtrs of mountain and you are there!!. Access is fine for the most part in a standard car into the property but a 4WD would be more sensible. The property has building permission, no power available and mobile works in some parts.
