Last Listing description (April 2019)

A 'Tree Change' can be triggered by many things, for some it's wanting extra space for their family to enjoy, maybe to build a larger home for their family or to enjoy the slower pace of living away from the growing city. Often it's wanting the space to also build a large shed to house cars, trucks, a workshop, or to pursue other hobbies.
Such were the influences that led to the purchase of this almost 8ha in the first stage of what is now a very grown up community of properties known as Wamboin, stretching nearly all the way to Bungendore.
Construction of this lovely brick and tile family home was commenced and eventually completed just prior to Christmas 1980. The design was clearly well thought out. The building was tucked into a gentle slope with north to the front. All living spaces, the lounge and dining rooms, plus the open plan kitchen and family room, could enjoy the expansive views across the country side and receive the warming winter sunshine.

The addition of a wide covered verandah protected the home from the summer sun, but was also wrapped around the east and west sides of the home, thus providing great areas to sit and shelter to enjoy a break regardless of the season, or time of day.
All bedrooms were positioned to the south side, the generous master suite on the eastern end, with ensuite and a walk in robe, along with the three additional large bedrooms with built in robes plus the main bathroom, separate toilet and the laundry room. Internal access to the large garage at the western end of the home offering ample space for 4 cars, plus extra storage and workshop space with the future potential to possibly convert into extra living areas.
In 2007 the 9X18m 4 bay shed with extra height doors (3.5m) to accommodate trucks or caravans, was constructed with the inclusion of ample workshop space.
