For those who aren't familiar with Copmanhurst really must go for a drive to see what's on offer. It's a sleepy country town with very little more than a general store, a pub, country folk and one of the most enjoyable stretches of river in the district.
Be sure to pop in to the pub and have a counter lunch when you are on your travels and ask the locals about the area. You may discover the best camping spots, the rope swings and also learn why you want to grow your roots here.
Just outside of Copmanhurst is a very affordable opportunity on a very easy one acre allotment (approx.). Most of your neighbours in the area have much larger holdings and in fact, many of the best in the valley. Depending on which way you choose to travel, Grafton or South Grafton are approximately 20-25 minutes from our destination.
