Last Listing description (May 2022)

This 'one of a kind' four bedroom weekend retreat has been built and created using shipping containers, recycled timbers and metals salvaged out of some of Sydney's iconic wharves...

Boasting ceiling beams from Pyrmont wharf timbers, flooring from Balmoral Baths, cross beams from Garden Island dockyards. The bedrooms downstairs are lined with cedar panelling from the Balmain East ferry wharf. The upstairs bedroom wardrobes are made from Oregon salvaged from the Kirribilli ferry wharf. The beams upstairs originated from Hickson Road Finger wharf 8 and 9 piers. The built in table top is made from Hardwood from the Mogo Mill.
Bathroom is lined with Camphor Laurel from Ballina. The Recycled pine in the kitchen came from Circular Quay ferry wharf. The combustion fire is built from a pier pile driver and weighs 1.5 tonne.

The fire and cabin are decorated with assorted metal hardware salvaged from the wharves and some pieces are hand made by the 'MSB' blacksmiths from the bygone era.

This unique cabin needs to be inspected to be fully appreciated.
