Last Listing description (June 2019)

"Boojerooma" - Set on a generous 1300m2 corner block, this quality built large double brick and tile home features four bedrooms, three bathrooms and plenty of space for your cars, boat and/or caravan.

Upstairs: Two good sized bedrooms with built in robes plus a master bedroom with ensuite and walk in robe, quality timber kitchen with updated appliances, open plan living/dining and access to the decks. The lounge room has expansive views over grassy farmland to the majestic Gulaga Mountain (also viewed from most rooms in the house). There is also a winter and summer deck, one facing north and one facing south with amazing views.

Downstairs: Guest accommodation featuring open plan lounge/dining area with kitchenette, one large bedroom with built in robes and central bathroom. The double doors take you onto an undercover patio area where you could have a BBQ or just enjoy the outdoors. The double garage has parking for four cars and features a drive through for easy access to the rear yard.

Views: Scenic hinterland views over grassy farmland towards Gulaga (Dromedary Mountain), Najanuga (Little Dromedary), Tilba Lake, Murunna Headland and the ocean to Bermagui in the distance.

Outside: A cosy corner of the garden has a covered barbecue area, paved space for extra tables and chairs and a garden shed with concrete floor. The block is fully fenced into two separate yards, one with several mature fruit trees. There is also an "envirocycle" system in place and two 5,000 litre water tanks. An outdoor shower is ideal when you come back from the beach. Several seats can be found around the garden so you can sit and relax. There is also a Solar hot water system on the roof.

Access: From the side street there are double gates approximately 4 metres wide to allow entry to the rear yard for parking your boat, caravan or trailer.

Overall: A quality built double brick and tile home with space for the growing family or those who enjoy entertaining friends and family. The home is designed to have two separate living areas. Downstairs is ideal for your aging parents or relatives as there are no steps and easy internal access from the garage. There is plenty of space for parking your "toys" with the side gate accessing the rear yard. The bird life is amazing, plenty of parrots, kookaburras etc that enjoy the garden, flowering shrubs and trees.

Location: A casual walk down Lamont Young Drive takes you onto a lovely sandy beach or take a drive through the spotted gum forest to 1080 beach. Enjoy the views over the ocean to Montague Island and watch the whales as they migrate (in season). In this area, we are lucky enough to have some of the most beautiful beaches and views on the south coast. A short drive to Narooma and its many pristine beaches, shops, cafes and restaurants. Heading south takes you to the historic Central Tilba village with its many interesting and unusual shops, Cheese Factory and cafes. The Eumun-Tea house in Central Tilba is well worth a visit. Bermagui is a little further south but well worth the trip to see more amazing beaches, natural blue pool, horse head rock, camel rock, cafes and restaurants.
