The Commercial Hotel is one of the most iconic pubs in the Central West of NSW. Set in the picturesque village of Millthorpe, in the heart of the food and wine region of Orange, this boutique pub, restaurant and luxury accommodation is now for sale as a turnkey purchase after being fully restored and now running as a fully furnished and staffed enterprise. This is a rare opportunity for a tree change from the city or for those in hospitality to add to their portfolio of boutique country properties.

History

Originally built in 1877 and continuously licensed since 1960, the Commercial has been completely restored to its Victorian essence with a modern stylish tone. For both locals and visitors, the hotel offers an old school pub experience with bar, dining facilities and beer garden combined with 5-star accommodation amenities.

Bar and Dining
The Commercial Bar offers a mix of mainstream and local craft beers, as well as a wide selection of magnificent Orange-district wines and boutique spirits.
The Commercial Kitchen excels with the provincial Australian paddock to plate style menu combining simplicity and sophistication.

The cool room, commercial kitchen and storerooms provide everything needed to run efficiently on a daily basis.

Accommodation
Seven beautifully appointed guest rooms with shared bathroom facilities are stylishly and thoughtfully fitted out. An elegant colour palette highlighting the beautiful period features has been used throughout to provide a luxury and cosy atmosphere and experience.

Location
Getting to Millthorpe is easy. The historic town is a short 20-minutes drive south-east of Orange (10 minutes from Orange Airport) and 30 minutes west of Bathurst. The drive from Sydney is approximately 3 hours 30 minutes. Or you can come by train (XPT). The XPT arrives every day around late morning (heading west to Dubbo) and returns in the late afternoon on its way back to Sydney.
