Purchasing our 'Dock of the bay', at a regional market price, provides an opportunity to capitalise on your high value City property and set yourself up for life by investing your comparative large remaining funds.'Dock of the bay' sits on a very quiet, unique absolute lake shore frontage. It has car, or boat access (from our own jetty) to the Sapphire Coast of the Far Coast NSW beaches, lake and Bega River to Tathra, National Parks etc. It comprises a main house which is a large open plan of three bedrooms, large bathroom, and separate 'powder room' toilet.
We have a massive deck which overlooks the garden and your unique lake frontage, and yes big enough to once host a large wedding party. Under is the 'Garden suite' in our 'Dingley Dell' tropical setting self-contained flat with bedroom, kitchenette land separate ensuite.
Near the lake is a very large self-contained 'Lakeside suite' (Combined office, music room, arts studio, Gym, additional sleeping accommodation, kitchen, ensuite etc), plus another wrap around deck to just chill by the lake.
Minimum three car parking including car port. Brand new 15 metre jetty.
All on 1094sq mt lot fronting Blackfellows Lake.
The property is available walk in walk out with everything from quality furniture, a half cabin cruiser, a 'tinny' with outboard launched from a ramp, a Hobie Mirage Kayak pedal, paddle sail (with trailer), bikes, surf gear, oh, and a ride on mower, all tools etc.The property, now unable to be replicated on Lakeside because of changed planning laws, is in an idyllic rural paradise yet within five minutes of the coast, twelve minutes to the major regional centre of Bega and its new Regional Hospital, and 20 minutes to a regional airport with less than one hour connections to Sydney and Melbourne (Internet airfares $330 return Sydney or Melbourne). A three hour or less drive from Canberra, 6 from Sydney, 8 Melbourne).
The lakeside and forest setting brings to you 120 plus birds of all varieties which also rinclude five different parrots coming to our bird feeders. One of our favorites, apart from the Eagles, and water birds (Pelicans, Egrets, Ducks, Black Swans, and a variety of Cormorants) is our resident Satin Bower bird 'Casanova'. See the Spring/early Summer of the mating saga videos we made this year at https://vimeo.com/193490428 The lake, river and nearby beaches, ocean, Tathra Wharf and rocks, and our own jetty allow for good fishing (Bream, flathead, Bass, Mulloway, Taylor and Mullet) and, with our boat and motor available (on an electric hoisted slipway) provides access to the larger lake and the Bega River and beaches. You can pedal, paddle or sail, with outriggers, the Hobie Mirage Kayak (with trailer) on the lake, river or ocean.
Our garden surrounds provide abundant different native fauna and flora - Kangaroos, Wallabies, Echidnas, Goannas, Anticinus, etc etc.
Whales congregate within 60 metres off our beaches and headlands for six months of the year. Our Sapphire coast community includes artists, musicians, writers, bush walkers', mountain bikers', fishers', golfers', bowlers', surfers', bird watchers', hosts a variety of events and festivals, or just lay back lifestyles.
All three clubs/hotel in Tathra will pick you up and drop you off for carefree nights out.
The Snowy Mountains are just two and a half hours away for skiing, hiking amidst the blooms of spring flowers, or fishing the mountain streams and lakes from trout and salmon. Canberra, the national capital is a comfortable day trip. Our home is show, but not fussy condition, and all it's facilities and equipment are yours.
We have completed renovation of the house with an almost new top floor. A large combustion fanned log fire, and air conditioning/heating meet all your comfort needs.

If you are a serious potential buyer, need to travel, and want a long look we can put you up overnight no charge in the 'Garden Suite'.
Vendor is very negotiable on price especially without the furniture.
