Cross Roads comprises a 27,058 hectare holding (predominately Western Lands Lease) which has been under its current ownership for 20 years. During that period the owners have run sheep, cattle and harvested goats on an opportunistic basis without really pushing the country. Most of the property has been de-stocked since April 2017, save for 400 weaners in the current season with a regular harvest of feral goats. The property has carried up to 6,500 merino ewes in good years (9,750 DSE) when it was being more actively managed.
