We love this comfortable, original style house "Beechwood". It's on a ridge between the ocean and the lake and gets the best of sea breezes from the east and westerlies over the lake. We are only selling because we have to help out our daughter who has a serious illness. People say the house has a great ambiance.... some say rustic charm..whatever, it is an appealing place. It's a very pleasant and liveable - peaceful and fairly private and quiet except for the occasional bird brouhaha! 5 minutes walk to wonderful Wallis Lake (there's a boat ramp there too), the Recky Club overlooking the lake - good food, wonderful sunsets, Community Hall (with Library), playground and tennis courts and attractive monthly markets featuring local produce.
5 minutes walk east to Elizabeth Beach, then through the bush to Shelley Beach. Boomerang and Blueys Beach are 5 mins drive away. Shops/cafes at Blueys and Foodworks and service station at Charlotte Bay (5 minutes drive). Up the road 22k is Forster with Woolies etc. House itself is old but comfortable with an ample half covered back deck overlooking variegated gardens and birds galore. You can bask or sit on the patio on top of the garage ..and on the shady back lawn or north facing upstairs balcony. Sunny front patio and lawn - flat and suitable for games like mini cricket, badminton and whatever you like. Front garden is fenced and OK for most dogs. Not the wriggly kind who might get under the gate but you could fix that..

Outdoor shower - good for humans who've been on the sandy beach - and rainwater tank for watering the plants...Upstairs there is one large room with small balcony north facing, bathroom and kitchenette - which we use to store photos... Upstairs has one queen size bed and fold out double bed but this large room could be converted very easily into two rooms. Downstairs is a bedroom with queen size bed, walk in closet, ensuite shower/toilet and a smaller room with double bed leading onto back deck.
Being on the corner of Jacaranda Avenue and Hillside Parade and with 942 sq m allowing for subdivision (STCA) it would be an attractive proposition for development. It has many possibilities; retirement home, AirBnb proposition, perhaps, until you are ready to develop...ava dekko!.

A unique home, built to last and a subtle reminder of a bygone era, surrounded by established native trees and ornamental ginger hedges for privacy and cooling.
