The construction is brick and concrete tile, with metal mesh leafguard on every gutter, a Termimesh stainless steel termite barrier and the exterior is designed to be as maintenance-free as possible.

The wide staircase is made from select blue gum and wrought iron balustrades. The massive industrial sized Actron ducted air conditioning system has four zone motors that can be independently controlled, providing very fast and efficient heating and cooling to chosen areas without waste. Each large bedroom is isolated for maximum soundproofing from other rooms by the strategic placement of the built-in wardrobes on common walls.

The large study/office contains the main electrical cupboard that features an electrical switchboard with 16 RCD circuit breakers and remote main switch, so that every area of the house can be electrically isolated. It is literally impossible to be electrocuted. There is a Clipsal StarServe Professional system with a Krone block patch cord system to assign Internet and telephone services as required to each main room. A TV distribution system provides an amplified TV connection to each main room. The 16 channel Concept 22 central alarm unit with infra-red sensors provides security in every main room. An intrusion sensor is at the front door with connected smoke detectors on each level. A top-of-the line 8 channel video and audio Fermax intercom system and facilities distribute music and radio to each main room and can remotely unlock the front door.

Each window has 6.5mm Lamguard security glass, featuring two panes of glass and two sheets of polyester sandwiched between them. This provides amazing security, as these panes of glass can withstand many hammer blows without breaking. All windows and external sliding doors have black framed flyscreens with brand new mesh. Each glass door features 5.3mm Lamguard panes similar to the windows. This glazing provides sound suppression from outside and temperature insulation and all glass doors and windows are fitted with keyed deadlocks.

Every main room has the top-of-the-line Fermax intercom terminal for communication with other rooms and to control music and radio from the central music player system and communicate with the front door and unlock it remotely. There are three video intercom terminals located in strategic areas that are connected to the front door to see who is there and to remotely unlock the door. All main rooms have stereo speakers in the ceiling for music and radio listening and air conditioning outlets.

Four Ethernet cables are in each main room, two of which are connected at wall plates and two cables behind each wall plate for redundancy or expansion. Each Ethernet socket can be assigned for either Internet or telephone or any combination from the patch bay in the Clipsal StarServe unit. All main rooms have TV sockets that are connected to an amplifier and distribution system that also has been cabled to feed video to the lounge and master bedroom for in-house video if required. An abundance of double power points has been installed throughout the home. There are numerous LED downlights and some other lights for bright illumination, with 15 dimmers installed.

The large kitchen has 40mm Caesarstone benchtops, double sink, a top-of-the-line Miele integrated dishwasher, a superb French Scholtes Galbe pyrolytic self-cleaning oven with matching microwave hatch, a walk-in pantry, an alcove for a double door fridge and mood lighting inside the wall cabinets with leadlight glass and over-bench lighting. The kitchen has a rather unique "Vac-Pan" connected to the ducted vacuum system, so that spillages on the kitchen floor can simply be swept into the duct with a broom and they instantly vanish into the vacuum unit bin.

The lounge room and master bedroom both have top-of-the-line integrated Bose surround sound home theatre systems. The master bedroom is huge, with two large built-in wardrobes, one of which has a pull-out full length mirror. There is a remote light switch panel close to the bed to allow for the lights to be conveniently controlled. An audio intercom point near the bed area allows for easy access, with four USB charging points for mobile phones and other devices.

The ensuite is tiled to the ceiling, has a 40mm Caesarstone benchtop, two Kohler sinks with remote wastes and a large mirror. There is a frameless shower screen, electronic temperature control for hot water, a heated towel rail, overhead extractor fan and heater unit, a Caroma Leda close-coupled toilet and three double power points.

Each bedroom is generously sized and has a large built-in wardrobe an intercom point with stereo speakers in the ceiling, two Ethernet points for telephone and Internet, a TV antenna point, air conditioning outlet and plenty of double power points. Each bedroom has a view, either of the state forest over the street or the backyard garden and is isolated from other rooms by the built-in wardrobes on common walls or the en-suite and the hall area.

The main bathroom is a three-way system that a number of people can use simultaneously. People can be at the 40mm Caesarstone benchtop and full width mirror with two Kohler wash basins with remote wastes and two double power points, one person can be using the Caroma Leda close-coupled toilet and others can be using the spa that has the optional blower system or the frameless screen shower area, all at the same time. The spa and shower area is tiled to the ceiling and has a hot water temperature control unit with bath filler functions. The temperature and amount of hot water can be programmed and once the spa is filled to the preset level, a synthesised voice will announce this. There is a heated towel rail and an overhead extractor fan and heater unit and a double power point.

The laundry has a 40mm Caesarstone benchtop, lots of storage space, two pull-out clothes bins, a large Abey sink with Grohe ceramic valve pull-out tap and direct access to the backyard and clothes line. The toilet off the family room also has a 40mm Caesarstone benchtop, a Caroma Leda close coupled toilet, a Kohler sink with remote waste and plenty of cupboards for storage.

There is a double garage with a B and D Panelift remote controlled door and a very large 29 square metre workroom and storage area behind it, where the main ducted vacuum unit is situated and there are internal stairs to the house. The Hunter EC electronic irrigation control panel and Enphase solar power controller are on the garage wall.

This home features the absolute top-of-the-line 9.315 kilowatt hour solar power system, featuring 27 LG NeON-2 345 watt solar panels, each with its own Enphase 7+ micro-inverter for the utmost efficiency and reliability. In 2020 and 2021, this system not only eliminated the entire year's electricity bill, estimated at around $3,000, but the feed-in tariff refund of around $1,000 also paid for most of the gas and water bills.

The driveway and paths are Claypave pavers and the backyard area has a sandstone area and a Hills retractable clothesline with removable pole that leaves the sandstone area unencumbered for parties and events. Sandstone steps lead to the elevated garden that has a sandstone area, which is suitable for a garden seat or swing. All three balconies, patio and entry area are tiled with elegant rectified travertine-look porcelain tiles.

The tiled patio outside the family room features an electrically opening Eclipse louvre pergola roof with a rain sensor and a natural gas outlet for a barbecue and a weatherproof double power point. Outside the dining room there is a pond with an illuminated waterfall feature and filtration system. The Buffalo lawn at the front is well-established with underground pop-up sprinklers and all the garden areas have automatic watering sprinklers.

This home was designed to have all utilities on one side of the house for convenience and appearance. The Rinnai 32 instant gas hot water unit, the large Actron air conditioning compressor, gas meter, telephone and NBN connection and the main fuse box are located there.

The location is in a prime position and close to many amenities. There are six public schools and seven private schools nearby. There is a Hills Bus stop just 50 metres from the house and the new Sydney Metro stations of Castle Hill and Cherrybrook are not far away.
