Last Listing description (May 2018)

A rare opportunity exists to buy a thriving business from a vendor with a genuine reason for sale. D lice Coffee is a destination Cafe with a strong local customer base, excellent regional recognition and position position position for the large number of travellers passing the front door. The business has outstanding social media reviews on Trip Adviser, Google Maps and Beanhunter. The cafe is renowned for serving delicious hand crafted coffee and excellent quality breakfasts and lunches and recently appeared on ABC's Backroads and is soon to appear on Seven s Sydney Weekender. The vendor offers the business, including all cafe equipment and freehold on a walk in walk out basis, with the desire to continue roasting the same outstanding coffee that has underpinned the success for the new owners.
As was apparent from the recent episode of ABC s Backroads the present owner Anton is not only passionate about coffee but also Hot Air Ballooning and it is now time for him to take over the reigns of the local Commercial Ballooning business from his parents. Anton can t be in the air and behind the espresso machine and so he has reluctantly decided to pass D lice Coffee on to a new owner.
From the beginning D lice has been about hand crafted food and coffee. To that end none of the meals are prepackaged or bought in, everything is prepared fresh on site. The cakes are all baked on site and the food prepared with the best of ingredients. Almost all of the meals can be prepared gluten free and the staff even bake gluten free bread that customers simply love and keep coming back for. The business is offered with all the recipes and a well trained exceptional staff who love their jobs and are keen to continue on with the new owners.

In addition to the food and coffee business D lice has a gelato bar, offers a small range of local produce for sale and is licensed as a second cellar door of Toms Waterhole Wines (for bottle sales). The cafe also has in place an agreement to provide the champagne breakfasts for the Commercial Ballooning operation which Anton is taking over.
The Freehold includes two lots of land, the building on one and the off street carpark on the other. The building is a classic double lined and insulated steel framed country shed with exposed trusses and a concrete floor. It is a large space with seating for approximately 60 people. The country style character is enhanced with giant retro style hi-bay LED lights and the walls are decorated with original artworks from local artist Mel Gersbach. In summer cooling is provided by an effective evaporative cooler and in winter a 360 degree enclosed glass fireplace provides plenty of warmth and ambience.
D lice is a successful and profitable operation with room to expand.
