This is a great property but needs some work to bring it up to its full potential. The land is just under 5 acres and has magnificent views over bush valley which stretches to the horizon and as far as the eye can see. Mostly bush on the block but with a few cleared sections.
The house needs work, there is no sugar coating this one. It has had some serious termite damage done to it in the past. The foundations and the downstairs area of the house are all solid brick with concrete floors, but the upstairs Hardie plank clad section is where the damage was done. The past owner still lived in it ok for years after. I'm not sure what is best, knock it down and start again, or perhaps rebuild the top section with steel frame work. The owner was an artist and the separate large studio room is in fine condition and could be turned easily into living accommodation.
The location is great. Very peaceful setting. Situated just under an hour from the start of the M1 at Wahroonga and about 45 minutes from Gosford. It would make a great weekend getaway home, or a property for permanent living.
