The Kilns" is Northern Beaches best-kept secret!
Drive to the end of this quiet residential street and you will be absolutely amazed to find this 12 year young unique modern security-gated complex completely surrounded by the tranquillity of beautiful greenery with no other units in sight. Appropriately named the "Kilns", this historic and heritage listed location is the former local brickworks site established way back in 1912 with the original machinery and the Kiln turned into a museum-like monument which has been incorporated into the common area of this amazing complex.

WHAT THE OWNERS HAVE LOVED ABOUT THEIR APARTMENT & LOCATION

The first thing that attracted us to the Kilns was the native bush setting. More than six happy years later, we still never take for granted waking up in the morning and gazing out on a wall of eucalypts and ferns, or sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine watching native birds, bandicoots, and the occasional wallaby. Lying in bed at night, all we can hear are frogs, crickets and owls, rather than cars and trucks. You'd think we were living in the country, rather than the heart of the Northern Beaches.

And yet the location is so convenient. Our daughters walk 600 metres to school, Warringah Mall is not much further, while it's a short walk to Pittwater Rd so I can catch an express bus into the city for work. Any number of Sydney's best beaches are a short car or bike journey away. It's so easy to grab a swimsuit and towel, and head to the beach at any time of day for a quick dip, a surf or just to soak in the natural beauty.

In terms of the apartment itself, the best thing is the sheer size. It's rare to find a house, let alone an apartment, with bedrooms or a living area as big as these. The kitchen and bathrooms are large and modern, and the apartment itself is flooded with natural light through the big glass doors and windows. We don't have a backyard, but we have access to the Kilns' enormous garden and the indoor heated pool, which have been a blessing during the lockdown. It's also a great place for kids. There is a diverse type of residents from young families to empty nesters here, and the gated community means we feel comfortable letting our daughters play outside with the other children knowing they're safe from busy roads. My wife and I have made loads of friends here, and it really is a great community. First-time visitors to the Kilns are always blown away that a place like this exists in the middle of suburbia.

The Kilns is a truly unique development: a redeveloped brickworks surrounded on three sides by lush bushland. It's been an awesome place for us to live for the past six years, and we know that the new owners will be just as satisfied.

Ben and Anke.
