WHAT THE OWNERS HAVE LOVED ABOUT THEIR HOME AND LOCATION
As our first home and place where we ve started a family, we count ourselves really lucky to have lived in the Kilns.
As a conversion from the Manly brickworks, the tall chimney stack, the main kiln conversion and the rustic rock crushing heritage pieces make it a truly unique and awe-inspiring place. The gardens and grassed areas are beautifully maintained too. Anytime we ve had visitors they are always struck by just how amazing the place is.
We love the location. Nestled into the base of Beacon Hill at the end of a no through road, it is peaceful, green, and beautiful - a real hidden oasis. There are no traffic noises, just the sound of the birds and community in the complex.
We ve made great friends here too. The grassed areas and pool have been terrific places for the kids to play and the gated community complex creates a really safe feeling.
The apartment itself has been awesome - modern, stylish, and spacious. We re so proud of what we ve achieved. When we bought it our parents, aunties, and uncles all exclaimed just what an impressive purchase it was as our first home!
We can t help but feel we got the best apartment in the block. We re on the ground floor on the side that gets the additional patio space, the tranquil gardens, the privacy screens, and just the right amount of sun.
We ve loved the enclosed and sheltered outside living area which has been so good as an extra space for the kids to play or to entertain guests.
The sliding louvres have been fantastic and can be arranged to keep the apartment cool on hot days and warm on colder ones. When closed, the patio has felt like another huge room perfect for sitting, talking, and having meals.
We ve taken advantage of the surround sound ceiling wiring too and put in high-speed network ports to create an apartment-wide state-of-the-art home entertainment system which will stay with the apartment.
There s heaps of storage space too and we ve got a massive spot in the garage where amazingly we fit a van with extended wheelbase, an SUV, and a good sized shed!
With so many great aspects, we're sad to leave, but we really hope the new owners love the place as much as we have.
