About Swinger Hill:

Owner Comment:
'Under the original 1969 plan developed by Ian McKay and Partners and constructed in 1972 for the National Capital Development Commission, three house designs were used in the Swinger Hill development: No. 16 was Model C, the Courtyard House. It is a three bedroom L-shaped house with scope for a fourth bedroom extension
The centrepiece of the house is the large living room with vaulted ceiling, a number of different living spaces, and a wall of glass looking out into the courtyard garden, ideal for entertaining.
In winter the sun streams in causing the room to glow; in summer the vine-covered pergola protects from heat and glare.
The house is very private, quiet, with views of native foliage in the mid-distance - it is an idyll I will miss'.
