"What was a disaster at the time was actually the best thing that could have happened. We almost rented a small unit & ended up in this amazing 3 bedroom house."

"We agreed to rent the unit, everything was booked & then we found out we didn't get it. It was panic stations! All I wanted was four walls & a roof cause I didn't want to be homeless, in a new city, with a baby, so we took the first place we could. Turns out that the first place we took ended up being the most fantastic location & the best place to raise our 2 boys. So when the opportunity came to buy the home, we begged, borrowed & (almost) stole so we could buy it. I had built so many memories; I just didn't want to move."

"Located on the top of Oxley Hill, we have amazing views across the valley from the open plan living area. It wasn't always an open plan though. A wall divided the kitchen from the dining room, & I always wanted to remove it, but Chris didn't want to. But when we rented it out to one of our boys, he took it out & did some amazing work on the home."

"The floors were stripped back in the living area & whitewashed, the dark timber was painted, & the interior freshened up. A new kitchen with striking black cabinetry was installed, & the new bathrooms have really finished off the renovations. We have added a deck to capture the views, & the landscaped gardens are very low maintenance for the size of the block. Plus, we turned the double garage into a teenagers retreat as the neighbourhood is safe enough to park the cars in the driveway. Well, there is enough room in the driveway for 3 cars & a boat, really."

"There are so many memories in this home. We have brought up our two boys, celebrated first days at school, birthdays & graduations. I will be taking precious memories with me as we move north to be with the boys as they start their own families.
Our chapter has come to an end at this home, but I know that there is an excellent chapter about to begin"
