42 Ijong St, Braddon is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom House with 2 parking spaces. The property has a land size of 976m2. While the property is not currently for sale or for rent, it was last sold in October 2000.
My awesome housemates are both sadly leaving Canberra for greener pastures. Not wanting to deal with moving or to leave our awesome Braddon townhouse I am looking for 2 housemates to move in from 15 December 2018. About the room/house: The townhouse is 3 bedrooms - (the photos are not current but from the last time it was listed). The two rooms available are both upstairs and share a bathroom between them. Both rooms are unfurnished and are big enough for at least a double bed (with bedside table) and have double sliding door built-in-robes. One room is slightly larger/with a slightly larger window. The bathroom has a shower and tub. There is a large landing outside the bedrooms which has another double sliding door closet, a reverse cycle air conditioner, windows, and is large enough for 2 small-medium desks (which is what the current housemates have there for study!). Downstairs is open plan kitchen, dining, and living room, with double sliding doors into a great, low-maintenance back courtyard. There is a clothes line and a large deciduous vine which gives plenty of shade in summer and lets in lots of sun in the winter. There is a European laundry with washer/dryer. I have a couch (and lots of kitchen wares!) but the current housemates will be taking the TV, Dining Table, Fridge and Microwave so any of those furnishings welcome if you have them There are 2 under cover car spots which we have shared between us. They are in line with each other which means some moving around of cars and organising but has been manageable. There is street parking (but not between 9 AM - 11 AM and 2 - 3 PM weekdays). The street is a quiet one but very close to all of the perks of living in Braddon (7 minutes walk to Lonsdale street) - including cafes, bars, shops etc. About me and what I'm looking for:I am a late 20's working professional with plenty of share house experience. I prefer to keep the house (particularly shared areas) clean and tidy but not excessively so. I often work long days but enjoy coming home to a good TV show, good food, and a glass of red wine/cup of tea. In the limited down time I have I'm either doing volunteer work, yoga, or catching up with friends for breakfast/a drink/live music. If you were to interview previous housemates they would probably say my 10/10 baking skills are my best attribute! I keep a busy schedule but I'm very friendly and would prefer to live with housemates who are happy to have a chat and share a meal if we're all home together and are considerate of one another. I'm hoping for housemates who are similar age, working professionals, who have share house experience and have left their hardcore party days behind. The right people will need to apply to the real estate agent for vetting, and be prepared to sign a 12 month lease. If you think this might be a good fit for you please send me an email with a little bit about yourself and we can arrange a time to chat and for you to see the place!
