Sought after location with a short walk up to Mt Ainslie reserve and easy access to the City.

Looking for "The Home" with potential for future extensions if needed - guess what? You have found it!!!

Owners Notes:

The extension to the bedroom and ensuite/walk in robe were completed a year before by the previous owners. I rented the place out from 1997-2001 whilst working overseas.

In 2006 we began some renovations, in 2009 the old deck and shed was removed and the pantry and toilet near the kitchen was removed also. This allowed the kitchen opening to be enlarged and a wide space for the doors onto a new deck. The pantry was combined with laundry area with better use of the space. The toilet was combined with the main bathroom. The dining area is the old 3rd bedroom in the original design.

A new double garage was built with an automatic garage opener. There is good additional storage if required.
Where possible the deck was constructed from recycled timbers and the new timber floor and decking are recycled Blackbutt. The folding doors onto the deck are Ash in keeping with the architraves and internal door timber. They feature a retractable flyscreen. The windows have Laura Ashley blinds.

The hot water was changed to instant gas and the ducted gas heater unit was upgraded in 2012. A pyrolytic Bosch oven and induction cooktop were upgrades for the kitchen. The ASKO dishwasher is 2 years old. A 5KW Panasonic reverse cycle air conditioner is less than a year old and is still under warranty. It is plenty for the living areas.

The chicken coop is a Wichita coop design which is easy to maintain and access and gives the chickens good protection in inclement weather and plenty of space if they are kept in. The large elm provides substantial shade to the house during the summer months and the house and deck are surprisingly cool in summer.
