Every day I wake up in paradise. Only minutes from the hustle and bustle of nearby Port Macquarie, our morning view is the tranquil site of old man river (the mighty Hastings). Distant kangaroos are always feeding leisurely on the recreational reserve that is part of the Riverpark Estate amenities and provides the green buffer between us and the river. The Roo's are under the watchful eye of the ever-present yellow-crested white cockatoo's and other perennial Aussie bird life including King Parrots, Kookaburra, Galahs, Rainbow Lorikeet and so many others that occupy the precinct. Provence Close is established on an easy elevated contour facing North, overlooking the reserve, which is owned by those of us that live in The Riverpark Estate at Sancrox (it's a French word and is pronounced Sanquar). Riverpark Estate is one of Ports best kept secrets. It's a bit of a hidden gem and most folks in Port are not that familiar with it. Truth be told the Riverpark locals like it that way.
